MaterialPilot
A practical starting point for home projects.
01 / THE PROJECT
What it’s about.
MaterialPilot brings material calculators and project guides together. It helps people work out quantities for painting, flooring and other home improvements before they start buying materials.
My part
This is my own project. I designed and built MaterialPilot myself, taking responsibility for both the interface and its implementation.
02 / A CLOSER LOOK
Inside the experience.
03 / THE DETAILS
The website in focus.
The calculator is the centre of the experience: measurements on one side, a readable estimate on the other. Supporting guides give the numbers context and make it easier to move from planning to doing.
- A collection of calculators organised around home projects
- A paint calculator with measurements, coverage and waste allowance
- Estimates presented alongside the inputs, with practical guidance below
